Are you Naughty or Nice??
Hi All,
Halloween will be here before you know. This is the perfect time to find all those costumes / outfits you need year round. Sometimes you need to be the Naughty Nurse in July...it makes the chicken soup taste better for some strange reason. You can't find anything decent in off Halloween season so now is the time to get them because you can find it easily. The highest ranking outfits are French Maid, Naughty School Girl, Naughty Cheerleader and Naughty Nurse. Some people are fine with the costume-in-a-bag but please get creative and add some flair. If you're doing the cheerleader, look online and find a cheer store near you. They have authentic cheerleader pom poms that are phenomenal and have a comfortable grip. Remember to show your team spirit with some coordinating socks that say "Cheer" or "Go Team!" If you're doing the school girl, check out American Apparel for knee high socks with the stripes on top. The quality is wonderful and they don't slide down. They offer a large assortment of colors. If there is not an American Apparel around you, you can find them online. Target offers really cute argyle knee highs. I find thinner thighs fit better in thigh highs and they both carry cute ones. Target's material is thinner than the American Apparel socks...tre' cute, tre' chic, tre' Tar-ge'!
NAUGHTY and / or NICE
There is a local store called Aphrodite's Closet located in San Diego. Pam, the owner, custom makes ANYTHING and her clothes hold up wonderfully. Just bring in a picture and she can make it. I've had her make many Halloween costumes over the years and have always been satisfied. I would like to say Pam gets really busy around this season so it's best you plan ahead. If Pam is not there, her husband and staff are very qualified and helpful. If there was a web site available, I would link it. So instead, here's their information:

Being a Naughty Girl may not be your thing and / or you may be shy. Maybe you would like to make a nice dinner for your partner before you have your connecting moment. Try making dinner in lingerie and heels. Heels make the entire leg look amazing. Even if your legs are not great...heels make your calves, hamstrings and bum work. Not comfortable in a thong? Boy shorts, aka booty shorts aka hot pants are a nice touch for us gals. Try Frederick's of Hollywood, Victoria's Secret or Macy's for some lacey styles. For great quality ones with cute patterns or colorful sheer, try Hanky Panky's or Honeydew's.
Who wants to cook and run the risk of getting burned on your tummy? Not me! I would like to recommend my friend Claire's product line called Jessie Steele. They offer Retro-chic vintage-inspired hostess aprons, kitchen aprons & cooking aprons for the contemporary woman. Seriously, these are the cutest aprons on the market!! These will spice up any dinner.

Sugar, Thanks for the great post! I'm not into wearing the sexy costumes in public, but it's nice to know that something as simple as tube socks can add a little flair at bedtime and keep the tootsies warm at night!
The aprons are really cool!
